On-campus Video Broadcast
As part of the Event Support service, the on-campus video broadcast provides technical advice and equipment to help departments organise on-campus events which require video broadcasting to the public or on-campus users. Depending on the requirements, broadcasting to different medias such as Youtube and Facebook is possible. For some events, broadcasting to different campus venues, e.g. from one lecture theatre to another, can also be arranged to allow a large number of audiences from different venues to join the event. Official event support is free of charge, however, departments will be charged over-time on technical support during non-office hours. Besides, recruiting a professional camera man is also recommended.
