Learning Management System
The current unified learning management system (LMS) at CityU is Canvas by Instructure, Inc.. CityU Canvas is hosted by Amazon Web Services in Singapore under a software-as-a-service (SaaS) model. Users are using the latest version of Canvas with rolling updates every two weeks. It enables teachers and students to interact for learning and teaching purposes. Course sites are created based on the Master Class Schedule before every semester to facilitate learning and teaching activities online. Teachers and students can also find the link to Canvas on CityU homepage under "Quick Links". After logging on to Canvas with EID and password, teachers will see the courses they are teaching while students will see what courses they have registered for.
