SharePoint Online
for Staff
At CityU, SharePoint Online is also known as CityUWiki. A SharePoint Online site is a cloud-based collaborative content management system, which is one of the available services under the Microsoft 365 subscription. It provides cloud storage for departments and committees to share and archive their documents. All the documents and contents on the site can be searched with a sophisticated full-text search engine. Site owners not only can set specific access permissions to their documents, they can also use Microsoft Information Protection to protect them. Students and external users can be invited to join the site, if necessary.
Support & Contact
Departments may submit an online CSC Work Request to apply for a SharePoint Online site.
