e-Recruitment
The Staff e-Recruitment System is CityU's online staff recruitment system, which handles online job applications and supports recruitment document flow during the entire recruitment process. The system is comprised of two modules, the Online Jobs Application Module and the Administrative Module.
The Online Jobs Application Module provides a fast and easy electronic platform for job applications for both internal and external applicants. Through the system, not only could applicants submit applications online, they could also review their recent applications or download their submitted application forms in PDF format for further reference. Should applicants need to apply for other jobs in the future, they could even upload their previous application forms back to the system so as to restore information in the new forms. A confirmation email will be sent to applicant when his/her application has been submitted successfully. Public users are required to register to access the module. University staff may access the module without registration.
The Administrative Module, on the other hand, provides a simple and user-friendly interface for recruiting departments to review applications. All applications received online will be instantly channelled to the recruiting departments for review. Recruitment panel members may access the module via AIMS and make notes, upload new applications or choose to receive email notifications on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis. When a staff has been added to the recruitment panel, he/she will receive email with direct access link to the job applications of the corresponding openings.
