Charged Printing for Students
It is a charged service to supplement the existing quota-based printing services (Printing in Teaching Studios and Free Quota Printing for Students) when the allocated print quota is used up. It provides A4 or A3 self-service printing in colour or black & white. Students should pay with their Octopus cards at any release station in the Li Dak Sum Yip Yio Chin Academic Building (on 4/F near the Service Desk) and Run Run Shaw Creative Media Centre (on 4/F). Apart from the PCs in the Teaching Studio Areas, the Computing Services Centre (CSC) has also added this printing service to notebook computers. Users can submit their print jobs through the notebooks anywhere as long as they are connected directly to the WLAN within campus or through the Virtual Private Network (VPN) from any Wi-Fi hotspot of the ISPs. Printing papers are provided free of charge.
