("G" icon) cannot be shown in the input text fields of some web pages such as Overleaf.

About Overleaf, you may find the solution with the below steps (enroll beta program) from other users sharing on the web.

1. Go to the Overleaf website
2. Click the Account button from the top right corner, then Account Settings on the popup menu
3. Scroll down to click the Manage Beta Program Membership link
4. Click the Opt-In to Beta Program button
5. Go to the Projects, edit your project or create a new one
6. Click the Source tab, and the G icon would be shown
