I am a student using the CityU Grammarly service. Is account renewal required each year?


Yes, annual account renewal for student users is required.

One month before your CityU Grammarly account expires, you will receive an email with the subject [Renewal Reminder] Grammarly Account Expiring in 1 Month from the IT Service Desk.

  1. Click the Grammarly Account Request form link on the reminder email
  2. Input your CityU Electronic ID / Password, then click the Sign In button
  3. Make sure Renewal is shown under Request type, then click the Submit button
  4. Look for the following message on the next page, and you will receive an email with title "[Request Completed] Grammarly Account is Ready to Use"

To check the expiry date of your CityU Grammarly service, please click here and look for "SOFTWARE ENTITLEMENTS".


Note:

  • No annual account renewal is required for CityU staff.
  • Accounts of inactive CityU students/staff are cleared regularly.
