Grammarly cannot be loaded in Microsoft Office (Windows) / Word (Mac).


Please check if your issue is included in the Grammarly Resolve Issues.


If the problem is still not fixed after trying the suggestions, please follow the steps.

  1. Click Contact us on the Grammarly website
    (make sure you log in with your CityU EID email address)
  2. Click on Resolve a technical issue, then Grammarly for Microsoft Office, and select either "Windows" or "Mac"
  3. Check if a similar issue is listed; otherwise, click
    • "I experience another issue with Grammarly for Microsoft Office", or
    • "I experience another issue with Grammarly for Microsoft Word"
    to submit a request
  4. Input the details about the problem with screenshots (if possible), click the Submit button
