You can "A. Uninstall" / "B. Disable" the Grammarly browser extension after clicking ("puzzle piece" icon) from top right of Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox and Microsoft Edge.

Under Grammarly tab, click Settings and then Profile Settings

On the "Extensions" menu,

  1. Uninstall:
    1. Click the ("3-dot" icon) next to Grammarly
    2. Click the "Remove......" option from the pop-up menu

  2. Disable:
    1. Click the "Manage Extensions" option
    2. Switch the toggle of Grammarly from ON to OFF

Official instructions (including steps for Safari) are located on their Uninstall the Grammarly browser extension web page.

You can continue to use Grammarly Editor at https://app.grammarly.com/ within web browser.
