The Foundation’s record fundraising results during 2016-17
have enabled CityU to pursue its strategic plan at full speed, focusing
on innovation and discovery, expanding interdisciplinary research,
strengthening internationalisation and global partnerships to enrich
education and research, and enlarging our capacity for knowledge
transfer and leadership. Thanks to the many generous donations,
more students than ever were given the opportunity to study or
exchange overseas as part of their undergraduate experience,
preparing them for an increasingly globalised work environment.

數字再創新高，讓城大可以全力以赴，
實現各項策略性計劃，尤其是探索與

創新、拓展跨學科研究、加強國際化和
全球網絡以促進教學與研究，以及提升
知識轉移與領導能力。感謝各方的慷慨
捐助，讓更多城大學生得以在就讀期間
可享負笈海外進修及交流的機會，為日後
投身日趨國際化的大環境作好準備。
