FAQ
Q1. What do I need to prepare for the online payment for my booking sessions?
Answer: All bookings are to be paid directly online via the CityU Pay. Users are recommended to have their visa card, Fast Payment System (FPS), Alipay (HK and Mainland China Wallet) or WeChat Pay ready in hand before they start their booking.
Q2. How much time do I have to make payment on the CityU Pay System?
Answer: Each payment process must be completed within a 15-min period, or the SFBI System will automatically release the concerned booking session.
Q3. Is the booking permit still available?
Answer: No. All booking confirmations would be sent via email to the users’ designated CityU email. Staff Dependents can provide their email address and add onto the SFBI System at our booking counters.
Users who need to claim the facility bookings for their sports events can use the email confirmation instead.
Q4. What should I do if I want to book more than one session?
Answer: Only one booking session per facility per day can be made up to 7-days in advance. Users can make a second booking session On-the-Day via the Sports Facility Booking and Information (SFBI) system or at our booking counters located at the Physical Fitness Room or the PE General Office.
Q5. What should I do If I can not come to the booked session?
Answer: With valid reasons, users can request to release the booked session at our booking counters before the session start time. The released session would be kept on the system for 21 days and the user can use that session to alter the date and time of that session via the SFBI System.
Q6. How would I know if I have a successful booking session?
Answer: A confirmation e-mail would be sent to the user’s designated email by the SFBI system if the session was successfully booked and paid. The email will display essential information such as the user name, booking ID, booking location and facility, etc.
