Transportation

Hong Kong has a well-developed public transportation network.  Relatively speaking, public transportation in Hong Kong is not expensive.  It is clean, safe, reliable and offers a lot of choices.   The public transportation system includes buses, mini-buses, taxis, trams, the Mass Transit Railway (MTR) system, the cross-harbour Star Ferry, and ferries to outlying islands.  Most public transportation, except taxis, accepts payment via Octopus Card.
