Hong Kong lies in the Pearl River Delta in Southern China comprising basically the Hong Kong Island, Kowloon Peninsula and the New Territories including the Lantau Island where the Hong Kong International Airport is located. With a total population of more than 7 million, Hong Kong is one of the most densely populated cities in the world.
