Ms. Mei Yan Li, a third-year student from the Department of Mathematics, was awarded the Outstanding Internship Award from Carrier Hong Kong Limited in recognition of her excellent performance during her summer internship under the Industrial Attachment Scheme.

Mei Yan shared with us that throughout the internship programme, she learnt about the operation of the I.T. Department and acquired skills on programming, coding, internet security and data management. Other than the hard skills, she also recognized the importance of soft skills such as communication and problem-solving skills in the workplace. Overall, Mei Yan found her internship experience rewarding and helpful for her future plans.
