On 13 February, the College of Science (CSCI) management team met with the Federation of Hong Kong Industries (FHKI) delegation to discuss and explore further collaboration opportunities.
Beating the strong teams, three F.3 girls from St. Stephen’s Girls’ College crowned the Gold Award at the Final Pitch of the CityUHK Science Patent Challenge 2024- 25 held on 15 February. This year’s Gold and Silver Award-winning teams observed the needs of the elderly and patients respectively, and tried to utilise technology to enhance their quality of life.
College of Science (CSCI) joined hands with the College of Computing, College of Engineering, and School of Energy and Environment in organising the STEM Career Fair 2025, which emerged as the largest gathering of its kind at CityUHK.
The College of Science officially kicked-off the 2024-25 academic year Mentorship Programme on January 18, 2025. The ceremony brought together faculty members, mentors and mentees, creating a dynamic atmosphere of collaboration and support.
Professor Xin Wang, Dean of CityUHK’s College of Science (CSCI), presented the College of Science Medal 2024 to CHEUNG Chun Hei (Alex), a 2024 Bachelor of Science in Applied Physics graduate.
Professor Qi Liu from the Department of Physics under the College of Science (CSCI), City University of Hong Kong (CityUHK), has been awarded the Young Collaborative Research Grant (YCRG) under RGC's Collaborative Research Fund (CRF) 2024/25.
