Under the new arrangements from 2025 HKDSE, candidates take the language examinations administered by official cultural organizations recognized by HKEAA. A new score conversion system for results of HKDSE Category C Other Languages subjects will be adopted.

JUPAS applicants who attain excellent overall results in HKDSE but slightly fall short of the programme entrance requirements may still be considered for admission under the flexible admissions arrangement.
No application is required. Eligible applicants will be identified after the modification of programme choices (after release of HKDSE examination results).

To cater to the advanced learning needs of elite students and to enhance their competitiveness, The CityU Tiger Programme offers Joint Bachelor’s Degree Programme with Ivy League and other world-class universities including Columbia University, University of Edinburgh and University of Manchester and a customised curriculum in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, English Language and other high quality fundamental courses. Students can also pursue a master's degree at the University or at a world-renowned overseas university through our bachelor’s and master’s combination option.

Students will spend two years at CityUHK and two years at the partner university. On completion of the curriculum requirements, students will earn two bachelor's degrees - one from CityUHK, and the other one from the partner university, normally within four years.
CityUHK students who wish to be considered for the joint bachelor's degree programmes must be enrolled in a 4-year degree programme of the majors concerned. More details of the eligibility criteria and relevant majors are available here.
