Fees and Scholarships
Admission fees and cost of study for local and non-local students are different. The University offers various types of scholarships and prizes in recognition of students' achievements as well as financial support to students in need. There are admissions scholarships for outstanding students upon admissions while other scholarship opportunities for current students are also available.

- Upon enrolment at the University, the non-refundable acceptance fee paid at the time of admission will be credited towards tuition fee.
- Tuition fees for UGC-funded programmes are subject to annual review by the HKSAR Government.
- For students pursuing a double degree, any extra credits exceeding 144 completed in the four years duration and credits taken in the 5th year of study and beyond will be charged on a self-financing basis. Click here for details.

The University offers various types of entrance scholarship for outstanding students enrolled in Bachelor’s degree programmes at the University.

- Tuition fee for non-local students admitted to government-funded Bachelor's degree programmes in the 2025-26 academic year. For the latest information, please refer to the Finance Office's website.
- Actual costs will vary depending on lifestyle choices. Students may also need to budget for overseas exchanges, summer study tours and emergency medical expenses, etc.
- Residence fee for a double room at the Student Residence (Undergraduate Hall) on campus. All fees are subject to annual review. Room rates will vary depends on room types, please refer to the Student Residence Office's website for details. Estimated costs for private renting. Scholarships
The University offers various types of entrance scholarship for outstanding students enrolled in Bachelor’s degree programmes at the University. Students are not required to apply for a scholarship. Applicants who receive an entrance scholarship will be notified of the award in the admission offer letter issued by the University.
