The Centre focuses on five research areas, including molecular and cell diagnostics, drug delivery technology, gene and cell-based therapy, neuroscience and brain science, and anti-aging technology. The Centre is now empowered by a strong team of members with expertise in chemistry, biology, biomedical sciences, neuroscience, pharmacology, materials science, and engineering from various departments of the University. The members share common research interests and carry out interdisciplinary studies on the research and development of innovative biomedical technologies.
The Centre will continuously facilitate collaborations among the members for jointly applying for external fundings, supervising graduate students, and publishing the research results, as well as encouraging more young scientists to apply for external fundings for self-sufficiency. The research culture to cultivate young researchers and graduate students with a diligent work attitude and a global vision will also be strengthened.
