CityU Musical reproducing the legendary

Broadway masterpiece: WEST SIDE STORY

WEST SIDE STORY, a Broadway musical
masterpiece integrating romance, passion,
conflict, and forgiveness, was presented on the
CityU campus this year! 25 CityU students have
been selected through the rigorous audition and
received nearly three months of singing, dancing,
and acting training. Finally, they debuted in the
CityU Arts Festival 2021/22. Students’ devoting
and animated performances in 3 shows from 15
to 17 October, together with the dazzling stage
effects and music, re-enacted the classic scenes in
which the audience were all immersed.

一套集合浪漫、激情、衝突與寬恕的百老匯
音樂劇巨著《夢斷城西》於城大上演！25位
城大同學在嚴格的試鏡中脫穎而出，展開近3
個月的唱歌、跳舞及演技特訓，最終於城大
藝術節2021/22裡粉墨登場！由10月15至17
日，一連3場的演出，同學傾盡全力呈現連場
經典畫面，配上令人目眩神迷的舞台效果及
音樂，讓全場觀眾如痴如醉！ Professor Way KUO, President of the University,
cheered up the cast members on the stage after
enjoying the magnificent performances!
城大校長郭位教授在欣賞同學們的精彩演出後，
到台上為一眾演員喝采打氣！

"West Side Story" included numerous classical
songs, such as "Tonight", "America". Students
devoted themselves to the training in the hope
of reproducing the legendary.
同學投入《夢斷城西》練習，務求重現多首傳頌
已久的經典歌曲如《Tonight》、《America》等。
