Biography of Ir Dr. Anthony Ma:

BSc (Eng), MSc, PhD, FHKIE, FCIWEM, FHKIQEP (Founding), MIMechE, CEng, CEnv, C.WEM

Dr. Anthony Ma is the Deputy General Manager in Environmental Management Division of the Hong Kong Productivity Council (HKPC) in charge of the Environmental Technology and Solution Centre as well as the Environment and Product Innovation Laboratory. He has over 30 years of professional experience in environmental research and engineering consultancy, specialized in water treatment and waste recycling. He is the International Reviewer of grant proposals for water technologies by PUB Singapore, and serve in the Drinking Water Safety Advisory Committee and the Expert Committee on Plumbing Materials of the Hong Kong SAR Government.

Biography of Ir Thomas C. T. Chan:

Ir Thomas Chan is a chartered environmental engineer with 24-years local and overseas professional experience in various business sectors that include environmental consultancy, sustainability reporting & carbon audit, waste treatment facility operation, and civil & building construction management etc. He currently is a Technical Director - Environment of Mott MacDonald Hong Kong Ltd.

Thomas is Fellow Member of several professional institutions which include Hong Kong Institution of Engineers (FHKIE) in Energy and Environmental disciplines, The Chartered Institution of Water and Environmental Management (FCIWEM, UK), The Institute of Environmental Management & Assessment (FIEMA, UK), and The Hong Kong Institute of Environmental Impact Assessment (FHKIEIA). He is also a BEAM Pro and LEED AP (BD+C, ID+C, O+M).

Biography of Ir Noman C.P. Cheng:

Ir Norman Cheng is the General Manager of Swire Waste Management Ltd., responsible to oversee the operation of the waste management facilities projects and other business development activities in Hong Kong and the nearby region.  Ir Cheng has been working in the environmental industry for more than 20 years, specializing in drinking water treatment, sewage treatment, sludge treatment, and waste management.  He has participated in many design, build, and operate projects in Hong Kong, China, and South East Asia. 

Biography of  Ir C.F. Lam:

Ir Prof C.F. LAM is a Professional Civil and Environmental Engineer having over 30 years of experience in a broad spectrum of infrastructure engineering, environmental management and pollution control.

CF is currently a Fellow Member of the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers (Civil & Environmental Disciplines) and Corporate Member of the UK Institution of Civil Engineers.  He has also been active in serving as chairman and senior positions of various professional bodies including the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers, Hong Kong Green Strategy Alliance and Hong Kong Waste Management Association.
