Ir Dr. Otto Poon Received the SEE Outstanding Service Award for 2024

We are thrilled to announce that Ir Dr. Otto Poon has been selected as the recipient of the SEE Outstanding Service Award 2024. This initiative recognizes individuals who have demonstrated an extraordinary commitment to supporting the School of Energy and Environment (SEE) community over the years.

As the founding Chairman of the Advisory Committee of SEE, Dr. Poon has served in this position for many years. His unwavering support has been instrumental in steering the School in the right direction, particularly in planning our academic programmes to meet societal needs and advancing cutting-edge research. We are also deeply grateful for his generous support in providing our students with internships at his company and scholarships. The high quality of our students has impressed him to the extent that his company has hired many of our graduates. Dr. Poon has thus made a tremendous contribution to the development and success of the School.

The presentation ceremony was conducted during the CityUHK Distinguished Lecture cum School of Energy and Environment 15th Anniversary Symposium on Global Sustainability and Energy Innovation on 6 December 2024.
