Some of us may be addicted to social media which poses a great threat on our mental health. However, there is little research on the use of social media and its negative impact on university students.
Therefore, this research bridges the research gap by studying how university students use social media in daily life. It can also provide us insights into combating social media addiction.

Most of the respondents agreed that doing exercise can reduce the time that they spend on social media because they are exhausted after exercising.

this study has proved that university students spend too much time on social media. It also provides us insights into combating social media addiction
