Prof. Ngai Hang CHAN, Head of Department of Biostatistics, Awarded Guangdong Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area 30 Statisticians

The Innovation and Measurement of Statistical Methods from an International Perspective cum The Third Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area Statistical Forum were successfully held at Foshan, China from 19 to 20 Sep 2024.

The Statistical Forum is an annual event for official statistical organisations within the Greater Bay Area to share knowledge, foster exchange and collaboration, as well as advancing statistical methods on an international perspective. The Guangdong Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area 30 Statisticians, a new initiative this year, is set up to commend statisticians for their remarkable achievements and contributions. We are honoured that Prof. Ngai Hang CHAN, Head and Chair Professor of Department of Biostatistics, has been selected for the award. This recognition is a testament to his dedication and contributions in the field of statistics. Congratulations to Prof. Chan on his achievement!
