College of Computing Distinguished Seminar by Prof. Yiran Chen: Big AI for Small Devices

College of Computing (CC) hosted its inaugural Distinguished Seminar on October 18th, featuring the esteemed Professor Yiran Chen from Duke University. The seminar, titled “Big AI for Small Devices”, delved into the forefront of the ever-evolving field of AI, captivating over 100 enthusiastic attendees, including students and faculty members.

The seminar culminated in an insightful exploration of the foundational design principles and their progressive evolution towards crafting efficient, scalable, robust, and secure edge computing systems. Attendees were enriched by the wealth of knowledge shared, actively engaging in a vibrant Q&A session where they had the opportunity to exchange ideas with Professor Chen, fostering a dynamic and interactive learning environment.
