Amendment of Application Information after Submission of Application for Bachelor’s Degree Programmes of CityU

Please read the following notes carefully before submitting your request for amending application information.

Important Notice:

Additional or revised information / documents provided to the University after the commencement of the selection process may not be considered, at the discretion of the relevant department.

Types of Amendment:

  1. Programme Choice 
    In general, no amendment is allowed for the programme choice once your application is submitted. 
     
  2. Correspondence Information 
    You may make changes to your postal address, email address or telephone number any time through your application account
     
  3. Applicant Statement 
    You can upload a revised applicant statement via your application account if needed. 
     
  4. Personal Information and Local / Non-local Applicant Status 
    To amend personal information (name, HKID/passport no., date of birth and nationality) or local / non-local applicant status, you may submit a written request by sending an email to ugadm.local@cityu.edu.hk (for Local applicants) or ugadm.intl@cityu.edu.hk (for Non-local applicants) after uploading a copy of your HKID card / passport (and visa issued by the Hong Kong Immigration Department, if any) via your application account. Alternatively, you may submit a request and attach a copy of your HKID card / passport (and visa issued by the Hong Kong Immigration Department, if any) for verification by post:

     Admissions Office
     City University of Hong Kong
     5/F, Fong Yun-wah Building
     Tat Chee Avenue, Kowloon
     Hong Kong

    For the change of gender, you may inform the Admissions Office via ugadm.local@cityu.edu.hk (for Local applicants) or ugadm.intl@cityu.edu.hk (for Non-local applicants) for amendment.  
     

  5. Advanced Standing Entry 
    If you are eligible for advanced standing entry but made an error in choosing your qualification at the time of application, you may submit a written amendment request by sending an email to ugadm.local@cityu.edu.hk (for Local applicants) or ugadm.intl@cityu.edu.hk (for Non-local applicants) stating clearly your application number, full name in English and qualification. You may click HERE for the qualifications eligible for advanced standing entry.

Other Amendments 
For other amendments or to add new information (e.g. academic qualifications* / work experience), you can upload the supporting documents via your application account. Please add the remark 'Amendment' to the file name for easy identification. If you encounter any problem arising from server space restriction, please contact us to increase the disk quota temporarily. 
* Applicants can update the following via their application account: 
- 'pending' grades in the 'Public Examinations' section 
- The latest overall GPA/mark of current post-secondary study in the 'Post-Secondary Education'

Upon request by the University, you should also present the original documents (including CityU qualifications and public examination results) for verification. Provision of any false or misleading information or failure to supply the original documentation for verification will lead to disqualification of the admission application and any offer/enrolment made will be rescinded. All fees paid will not be refunded.
