Using Advanced Prompts in the CityUHK Chatbot

The Harvard Prompt Library is an open-source resource offering a collection of advanced prompts designed to help users fully leverage the capabilities of Generative AI. Users can browse, select, and implement prompts easily. Each prompt includes a summary and structure for classroom use.
Using the Harvard Prompt Library
To use the Harvard Prompt Library with the CityUHK Chatbot, follow these steps:
- Visit the Harvard Prompt Library.
- Browse through the different categories of prompts available, such as Learning Activities and Teaching Activities.
- Click on the specific prompt you are interested in to view its details and instructions.
- Copy the prompt snippet provided in the details.
- Open the CityUHK Chatbot via CityUHK Mobile App: iOS Android, as well or CityUHK Portal.
- Paste the copied prompt snippet into the input field of the CityUHK Chatbot.
- Follow any additional instructions provided by the Chatbot to implement the prompt in your teaching or learning activities.
- Feel free to customize the prompts to better suit your needs and context.
Sample Prompts
Below are a selection of useful prompts for teachers and students.
Prompt | Description |

General Tutor | An all rounded tutor bot that can help with anything. |
Class Reflection-Aid | Helps students reflect on their class experiences, so that they are guided towards a written reflection. |
Quiz Creator | Creates quick MCQ questions based on topics provided. The user can also specify the area the quiz should be based on, such as the parts the students struggle with. |
Negotiation Simulator | A chat simulator that can be used to train negotiation skills. |
Simulation Creator | Can create any simulation, given that sufficient information is provided. You can also "end simulation" to ask for feedback. |
