City University of Hong Kong (CityUHK) hosted two visits to the Lee Shau Kee Student Residence Village (Student Residence Village) for the delegation of the Sha Tin District Office and the delegation of chairpersons and members of the owners’ committees of the residential properties in the neighbourhood in October 2024 and January 2025 respectively to promote communication and encourage cooperation with the community members in the Sha Tin District where the Student Residence Village was located.

The delegation of the Sha Tin District Office led by Mr Frederick Yu, JP, District Officer, toured the Student Residence Village on 25 October 2024 and met with Professor Chan Chi Hou, Vice President (Community Engagement), Professor Steve Wong, Associate Vice President (Community Engagement) and Dr Wilson Lam, Director of the Student Residence Office (SRO). The visit provided a valuable opportunity for CityUHK and the District Office to foster effective communication and explore opportunities for more cooperation for the benefits of community members in the district and CityUHK students.
