Executive Officer II in the Talent and Education Development Office [Ref. B/839/09]
The mission of Talent and Education Development Office (TED) is to support excellence and innovation in teaching and learning. A range of student learning schemes and staff development activities are offered by the Office. TED also manages the HK TECH Tiger Programme, Teaching Development Grant, and the Gateway Education Programme at CityUHK.
Duties
- Coordinate staff development/student learning activities;
- Assist in organising events, workshops, and seminars;
- Coordinate the production of TED newsletters;
- Handle student credit transfer applications;
- Provide general administrative and committee secretarial support; and
- Perform any other duties as assigned.
Requirements
A Bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years’ post-qualification working experience. Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua); effective communication and interpersonal skills; good analytical and organisational skills; high proficiency in IT skills; multitasking and working independently under pressure are required. Prior working experience in higher education institutes would be an advantage.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a written test.
Salary and Conditions of Service
Remuneration package will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract; fringe benefits include gratuity, leave, medical and dental schemes.
