在疫情影響下，由城大學生及校友組成的城
大音樂劇演員團隊終在資深舞台劇導演的指
導下，於2020年尾成功開展延期超過半年之
首次排練！

2020/21年度的演出劇目《吉屋出租》有多達
46首演唱曲目，主題和劇情環繞種種人生
課題，對23位年紀輕輕的演員來說無疑是
越級挑戰。「我們很難想像在一個充滿罪惡、
疾病、貧困的紐約貧民窟中，人們有多麼
絕望和無力。唯有深深代入角色，我們才能
了解他們的經歷，然後如實地傳達給觀眾。」
城大音樂劇的演員黎芊晴(Emily)說道。

儘管是次劇目難度甚高，但Emily對於能夠參
與其中仍感到雀躍不已。「雖然受礙於疫情，

Despite the challenges, Emily is thrilled to be part
of the overwhelming production. “Even though
we have to wear masks at the rehearsals, it is still
very enjoyable and rewarding. It is fun learning the
musical and discussing the details of the musical
with my cast members.”

which brings unprecedented challenges such
as suspension of rehearsal, Emily and other
cast members have experienced moments of
frustration and worried that the performance will
