The University offers opportunities for social work students to undertake non-credit bearing professional internships, serving individuals, families and/or communities of different cultural backgrounds. This also allows students to build up an actual concept on how social services are delivered in different places and on the characteristics and service needs of local people there. Besides, students are also welcome to initiate study tours to places they would like to explore and come into contact with service targets that they aspire to serve. This encourages self-motivated and active learning, as well as enhances organizing experiences for our students to take up the leading and supporting roles in a group.
