Under usual practice, social work students go for overseas exchange in the last semester during their final year studies. Students have been to places like Australia, Britain, Mainland China, Taiwan, America, just to name a few. The exchange practice provides student opportunities to explore different cultures and take credit-bearing social sciences courses in different places. This enables them to experience their lives as a student there, meet friends, and engage in student activities and community services and the like. Moreover, students learn about the similarities and differences of social work practices in different countries and transfer the knowledge for future practices.
