Social Work is a helping profession that applies knowledge from various disciplines of the social sciences to develop theories and practices. With the complexity of social systems, we believe the uniqueness of every student’s learning experiences and discoveries in our programme. Throughout the years, our program has been offering student-centred and experiential learning opportunities to enhance their competence and practice wisdom: practicum experiences, community awareness projects (Voices of the People/Powerless), service-learning project (City-Youth Empowerment Project), student developmental co-curricular program (Project X for Learning Excellence), overseas exchange, internships and study tours, scholarships, and the like.

This website serves to provide snapshot information about our students and alumni are discovering, doing and experiencing in their university and work life. It also performs the bridge connecting different stakeholders who are interested in social work education. Last but not the least, we would like to stimulate thoughts and enhance the competence of Social Work education, as well as the social service provisions.
