CityUHK Ambassadors for Digital Literacy (ADL) is a brand-new initiative to elevate CityUHK students' digital literacy and self-learning by offering various new opportunities to experience an array of cutting-edge AI tools and automated design platforms including ChatGPT, CANVA Design, Microsoft Copilot, video and animation AI creation tools, alongside LinkedIn Learning’s diverse online course offerings.

With a close partnership with LinkedIn Hong Kong, ADL is a strong advocacy team of proactive and passionate CityUHK students taking key lead in exploring more about Generative AI tools and launching advocacy campaigns to engage with CityUHK community and raise awareness on Digital Literacy.
Join us in championing your digital literacy and self-learning skills, serving as CityUHK key advocators to foster a culture of continuous learning at CityUHK campus.
Objectives
ADL serves as campus ambassadors to advocate, educate and engage CityUHK community with key insights and useful resources from cutting-edge AI tools and automated design platforms including ChatGPT, CANVA Design, Microsoft Copilot, video and animation AI creation tools, alongside LinkedIn Learning’s diverse online course offerings.
The programme aims to:

Develop and strengthen students’ leadership and soft skills through team coordination, project execution and event management;

Advance students’ presentation skills and pitching techniques with direct engagement with CityUHK peers, staff and community;

Nurture students as digital-literate and agile learners with mindset of lifelong learning and upskilling;

Enrich students’ university learning experience by representing CityUHK as a digital literacy leader.
Target Students

45 full-time CityUHK students; local/ non-local are both welcome; undergraduate & postgraduate are welcome

Interested/ experienced in digital marketing, promotion, design and event management/ execution

Knowledge-savvy and proactive learners with strong passion on upskilling, Generative AI, digital literacy, content creation and self-learning

Role & Services [~24 hours]
- Attend Compulsory Intensive Training Workshop on Digital Literacy & LinkedIn Learning plus Company Visit at LinkedIn Hong Kong Headquarters with Qualified Certification (2.5 hours)
- Provide Onsite Support at CityUHK Career Fair LinkedIn Learning Booth (5 hours)
- Create Educational Content and Feeds for CLC IG & Social Media Platforms (7 hours)
- Conduct Short LinkedIn Learning Promotional Webinars & Virtual Workshops (3 hours)
- Conduct Focus Groups and Surveys to Collect Feedback and Improvement for CityUHK Ambassadors for Digital Literacy (4 hours)
- Complete selected LinkedIn Learning Training Courses for digital marketing, event management and customer services (2 hours)

2 sub-teams will be formed under the captioned 3 teams, (i) Reels/ Video Production and (ii) Train the Peer Trainer Virtual Session.
All ADL members are required to station at exhibition booths.

ADL members shall fulfil the appended requirements:

Obtain a decent LinkedIn profile and a profile picture;

Create and post 2 30-second reels/ visuals with decent content for better personal branding via LinkedIn profile (after the company visit & training at LinkedIn Hong Kong Headquarters; after the exhibition in Feb/ Mar).
