7th ExCo of the Eminence Society celebrates inauguration and pledges support

 

The Eminence Society (ES) held the Inauguration of its 7th Executive Committee cum Annual Dinner on 29 January at the Faculty Lounge on campus. About 70 participants, including University representatives, honorary guests and ES members, celebrated the occasion. Those in attendance witnessed the oathtaking, led by ES Chairman and Honorary Vice-President of CityUHK Foundation Dr Raymond Leung, and received updates on University developments. CityUHK Council Chairman Mr Lester Huang and President Professor Freddy Boey also praised the contributions of ES in uniting senior and prominent alumni.

ES is an independently registered organisation, formed by enthusiastic and supportive alumni committed to contributing their expertise and resources for the betterment of CityUHK and the community. The society organises activities to expand networks, enrich experiences, and collaborate with esteemed organisations to maximise benefits for members, the University and the community. All attendees expressed their excitement and enthusiasm for the upcoming ES activities, such as dinner events, cultural activities and farm visits, planned by the ES both in Hong Kong and out of town.
