College of Engineering & College of Science Career Fair 2024 Connects Students and Employers

Jointly organised by the College of Engineering and College of Science, Career Fair 2024, held on 30 January 2024, was a big success. Students were provided a chance to meet with a record-breaking 69 employers from different industries. A total of 3,000+ vacancies were solicited for students from the two Colleges.

Professor Raymond Chan, Dean of the College of Science, described in his welcoming speech that the Career Fair is “a bridge” connecting young talents from CityUHK with their dream career. “The Career Fair provided a valuable platform for our students to explore career prospects and broaden their horizons. And at the same time, this is a golden opportunity for employers to engage with potential employees,” said Professor Chan.

The booths showcasing employers and associations were overwhelmed with students. Apart from career talks, networking lunch, CV and interview consultation, the participant also had a chance to visit the State Key Laboratory of Terahertz and Millimeter Waves, which was an activity newly added this year.
