We are a dynamic Rail Electrification team within the Siemens Mobility Limited in Hong Kong, specializing in high voltage (H.V.) projects and their sub-systems. Our work encompasses High and Low voltage systems, control and monitoring systems for these equipment.
As an intern on our team, you will primarily be based in our office located in Kwun Tong. Your main responsibilities will involve supporting us in the design, research, development, and preparation of project execution documents. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to assist in the design and estimation of tender bidding.
We also offer hands-on experience, you will be involved in supporting the preparation and implementation of factory acceptance tests (F.A.T.). This will include trouble shooting, fault investigation and testing, as well as some hands-on work such as testing equipment and systems using tools such as multimeters to measure voltage and terminating wires manually.
Furthermore, we have exciting digitization projects where you can contribute to developing cloud solutions, setting up and configuring networking devices like 4G/5G routers, configuring hardware and programming software for Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), as well as configuring and setting up Commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) software for different projects and systems.
