Job Description

This is an 8-week programme between June and August 2025 that is targeted to undergraduate and postgraduate students majoring in STEM disciplines.

Through the internship, you will acquire hands-on applied R&D experience in one of our five Technology Divisions (TD) or Core Competency Group (CCG) Cyber-Physical Systems – they form the cornerstones of the Information and Communications Technologies R&D Centre (ICT RDC) initiated by the Innovation and Technology Commission (ITC) of the Hong Kong SAR Government.

ASTRI’s core R&D competences are applied across six core areas which are Smart City, Financial Technologies, New Industrialisation and Intelligent Manufacturing, Digital Health, Application Specific Integrated Circuits, and Metaverse.

Five Technology Divisions (TD) and One Core Competency Group (CCG):

Artificial Intelligence and Trust Technologies (AITT)
Advanced Electronic Components and Systems (AECS)
Communications Technologies (CT)
IoT Sensing and AI Technologies (IOTSAI)
Innovative Mind (INM)
Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS)

Job Requirement

- Undergraduate and Postgraduate STEM students on track to graduate in 2025, 2026, or 2027
- Enthusiastic in exploring a career in an applied R&D institution
- Creative, open-minded, visionary, and interested in the Innovation and Technology (I&T) industry
- Fluent in written and spoken English
