CityUHK triumphs at the International Exhibition of Inventions of Geneva with 36 awards

CityUHK faculty and researchers participate in the IEIG.

 

Researchers of the College shone at the 49th International Exhibition of Inventions of Geneva, earning 27 awards. Among the outstanding achievements was the project led by Prof Stella Pang (Department of Electrical Engineering), titled Design and Nanofabrication of Highly Sensitive Plasmonic Sensors for Biomedical Cell and Molecule Detection, which received the Special Prize and the Gold Medal with Congratulations of the Jury. Additionally, seven other projects were honoured with the Gold Medal with Congratulations of the Jury and seven projects honoured with the Gold Medal, while nine projects secured the Silver Medal, and three projects were awarded the Bronze Medal.
