The series features the Lucitano, Lipizzaner and Andalucian horses from Spain and Portugal at the Horseshoe Point International Riding School in Pattaya, Thailand. In these imposing yet minimalist monochromatic images, the smooth rich texture of the horses’ skin and mane is highlighted to delineate their classical majestic beauty and power. These semi-abstract compositions place the horses in the middle of meadows against a black velvet backdrop with changeable daylight conditions.
