Objectives

The CityU LR aspires to become a leading student-edited scholarly law journal in the Asia-Pacific Region by providing a platform for scholarly debate and professional practice on issues affecting the world community. In due course, it is hoped that the CityU LR will become an indispensable reference tool for academics, practitioners, and students alike.

The CityU LR aims to:

• publish papers on cutting-edge issues in diverse areas of law;
• provide a forum for members of legal fraternity in Hong Kong and overseas to engage in dialogue
• on contemporary legal issues of local as well as global interest;
• expose outside world to the legal developments in mainland China, Hong Kong, and Macau;
• encourage students to publish in a scholarly journal read by an international audience; and
• harness the editing and research skills of law students.
