CityUHK MSc in Marketing tops again the Asia and Hong Kong rankings; The MBA programme is ranked in the global top 100 for the first time

CityUHK MSc in Marketing tops again the Asia and Hong Kong rankings while the MBA programme is ranked in the global top 100 for the first time.

In the recently published 2025 QS Business Master’s Rankings, five programmes of City University of Hong Kong (CityUHK) were ranked. The Master of Science (MSc) in Marketing was ranked 1st in Asia and Hong Kong for the second consecutive year. Additionally, CityUHK’s Master of Business Administration (MBA) programme was ranked 99th in the 2025 QS Global MBA Rankings, marking the University’s inaugural entrance to the global top 100 in this ranking list.

The MSc in Marketing was ranked 34th globally. Also impressive were the rankings of the other four programmes. The MSc in Operations and Supply Chain Management was ranked 2nd in Asia, 11th globally; the MSc in Finance was ranked 5th in Asia, 46th globally; the Master of Arts in Global Business Management was ranked 5th in Asia, 52nd globally; and the MSc in Business and Data Analytics was ranked 4th in Asia, 51st-60th globally. The MBA programme was ranked 99th globally and 16th in Asia among 340 ranked programmes.

The business Master’s and MBA programmes achieved particularly outstanding performance in the "Return on Investment" and "Thought Leadership" assessment criteria. The scores improved significantly compared to last year’s, reflecting the exceptional competitiveness of CityUHK graduates in the job market and the excellent academic standard of these programmes.

Professor Kalok Chan, Dean of the College of Business, said that CityUHK had distinguished itself in the 2025 QS Business Master’s Rankings and the Global MBA Rankings. This underscores the College’s commitment to nurturing business elites with a global perspective and enhancing the competitiveness of its students. The College of Business will continue to enhance its programmes to provide diverse learning experiences for future business leaders.
