Participation in SCHKM is the first event in our year-round EIM-OC activities and one of the celebrations for CityU's 30th anniversary as a university. This year, over 800 CityU runners registered in the CityU Delegation, 335 of whom will take part in the 10-kilometer race, 270 in the half marathon and 207 in the full marathon.

At the ceremony, President Boey officiated the Flag Presentation and presented the CityU flag to the representatives of the CityU Delegation, sending his blessings for them to reach their goals.

Various sports activities were featured in the ceremony for staff and students to challenge themselves. In addition, a series of activities will be organised for the CityU community throughout the year, including the Annual Athletic and Aquatic Meet, the CityU Walk Contest, Cycling fun days, health talks and fitness walking.

EIM-OC is a global health initiative launched by the American College of Sports Medicine to encourage faculty, staff and students to work together to improve the health and well-being of the campus community.
