Reception celebrates CSE students’ achievements

Twenty-eight students who received prestigious external and internal awards and scholarships during the year were congratulated at a reception held by the College of Science and Engineering (CSE) at CityU University of Hong Kong (CityU) on 26 May.

Out of the 28 students, some performed strongly in external competitions while others received scholarships from the University and external organisations for their outstanding academic performances.

At the reception, parents and secondary school teachers and principals had the chance to mingle with CSE teaching staff and witness for themselves the achievements of their children and past students.

Professor Yan Hong, Acting Dean of CSE, presented the certificates of merit to the students. He encouraged them to keep up with the good work and continue to share with CityU more success stories in the future.
