The Australian crayfish market is expected to see explosive growth in Hong Kong. We formed a tech start-up which spent years setting the standard of procedure (SOP) and commercialising Australian crayfish aquaculture by providing safe and sustainable seafood for the consumer market.

Aquatech is the first team to collect aquaculture data of crayfish and implement them systematically in fish farms in Hong Kong and Szewui. We provide an indoor RAS system suitable for high-density farming, allowing outdoor fish farms to add different layers to increase the yield rate and survival rate of crayfish with sensors and CityU IP – smart sponge technology, which received the Silver Award at the International Exhibition of Inventions of Geneva 2022. We will launch a carbon credit platform for local fisheries in the near future.
