Packing Your Luggage

Items You Will Need to Bring Along

  1. Your passport or travel document, with the “Notification Slip for Entry Visa / Permit” (e-Visa)
  2. A copy of letter of admission
  3. A copy of your insurance policy, if available
  4. Your identity card (身份證) and household registration, if available (如有戶籍謄本請一併擕帶)
  5. Proof of permanent address in your home country (in Chinese or English) for opening a bank account 
  6. Cash, traveller's cheques and/or credit cards
  7. Any medications prescribed by your doctor, together with a letter from the doctor testifying that the drugs are licensed and prescribed for your personal use due to a health condition
  8. Any mobile phone, laptop computer, tablet or other IT devices 
  9. A few recent passport-size photographs
  10. Clothes suitable for the weather conditions in Hong Kong
  11. Any telephone numbers that might be useful if you need to seek help
