New Student Orientation
Orientation Programme
To help new students get acquainted with the CityUHK community as soon as possible, the Global Engagement Office will organise a series of induction programmes exclusively for non-local students before the semester starts. The Orientation Programme comprises two parts, 1) Pre-arrival Orientation sessions (online/physical) and 2) In-person Orientation Programme activities.
Pre-arrival Orientation Sessions
Our Pre-arrival Orientation sessions will help you understand more about our local culture and get well-prepared for your study at CityUHK before you travel to Hong Kong. Details of the Pre-arrival Orientation sessions will be sent to new students via email.
In-person Orientation Programme
Our in-person Orientation Programme will take place from 6 – 10 January 2025. Students are strongly recommended to arrive on 6 January and join the Orientation. Upon arrival, students should visit GEO Greeting Lounge where useful information will be provided. For the orientation schedule, please click here.
Airport Pickup Services
Free shuttle bus service will be provided for students to get to CityUHK Student Residence (Ma On Shan Compound) from the Hong Kong International Airport during Orientation Week.
Due to limited capacity, each student may reserve up to three seats only (including two guest seats). Spots will be reserved on a first-come, first-served basis.
Registration: Please click here to register on or before 18 December 2024. A confirmation email will be sent to you in due course after registration.
