Caspar Peberdy
Meet Caspar Peberdy, a Physics major from the University of Birmingham in the UK. As an exchange student at CityUHK, he not only delved into the mysteries of the universe but also explored global diversity through the universal language of music with the CityUHK Choir.
“Coming to CityUHK as an exchange student, I wanted to experiment with different sports and student societies. I considered joining swimming and dragon boat racing, but then I went to the CityUHK Art Festival and decided that I wanted to get involved in performing arts, so I joined the CityUHK Choir.”
"The CityUHK Choir was very inviting from the beginning." Caspar shared his experience on the CityUHK Performing Arts Exchange Tour in China.
“One unique aspect of the CityUHK Choir that really impressed me was our repertoire of songs in languages from all over the world. The choir members come from all over the world as well, so we get to hear about lots of cultures. We also had the opportunity to go on an exchange trip to Guangzhou, and this was a cultural experience that was very new to me. I am very grateful to CityUHK and the Choir for being so welcoming to me.”
