Connecting to the World Cultural Talk: Korean Food Culture
Korea’s natural environment features mountains, plains, and seas in equal measure, contributing to the country’s diverse and distinctive culinary cultures. Korean food, or hansik, is known for its savoury flavours, unique ingredients, and emphasis on healthy eating.
In the talk led by the instructor from the Korean Cultural Center, participants will learn about the history and culture of Korean food, discover how to make some of the most popular dishes in Korean cuisine, and have a taste of the traditional Korean dish – Gimbap / Kimbap.
