User Guide on setting up CityU Mobile for Two-factor Authentication

1. Make sure you can find the Authenticator icon in CityU Mobile.

2. Visit the 2FA CityU Single Sign On System portal https://auth.cityu.edu.hk/.



3. Click "My CityU Profile"

4. Click the top right gear icon and choose Setup MFA.

5. Click Edit button.

6. Click CityU Authenticator Set up

7. Click Setup

8. On this page, open CityU Mobile app on your device and click Authenticator

9. Follow these steps on your mobile phone

10. Enter the 6 digit code and click Verify.

11. You will see Okta Verify has been successfully enabled and you will receive an email notification.
