What Microsoft 365 software/apps are staff entitled to use?

The"Microsoft 365 A3 for faculty (Microsoft 365 Education A3)" license will be assigned to eligible staff to use Microsoft 365 (M365) software/apps via the University's Enrollment for Education Solutions with Microsoft.

To check your M365 license with the subscribed list of software/apps, you can:

  1. Sign in to this link https://portal.office.com/account with a browser to check your subscriptions.
  2. Click on Subscriptions (on the left side pane) or View Subscriptions (under the Subscriptions box).



  3. Scroll down if there are more items below.




If you would like to use M365 software other than those listed (e.g. Copilot for M365, Copilot Studio, Teams Phone, PowerBI Pro, Power Apps, Power Automate, Visio, and Projects, etc.) or procure any Microsoft perpetual license software, please get a quotation from and place an order with SoftwareONE Hong Kong Limited, an authorized dealer for Microsoft products contracted for the Joint Universities Computer Centre (JUCC).

The process flow for additional M365 licenses:

  1. The department representative gets the quotation from SoftwareOne.
  2. The department representative sends the quotation to FO for a purchase order (PO).
  3. After getting the confirmation from SoftwareOne, the department representative submits a CSC Work Request, attaches the PO, and provides the EIDs/email of users who need to use the license.
  4. CSC will then assign the license to the target users.
